For Laney's 3 month birthday, I purchased the beloved Exersaucer and Jumper....Josiah just LOVED these things (and still does, apparently--he enjoys showing Laney how they work), so I was anxious to see if Laney would like them as well. It's a whole new world when you can observe it standing up. So far, she really likes the exersaucer, although, not for longer than 10 minutes.
I knew those old medical school textbooks would come in handy.

We don't have an exersaucer. We borrowed a Bumbo, but my child literally twisted herself out of it. I've been told babies can't get out of them, but she proved them wrong. She did like sitting up and looking around though. Maybe we'll get an exersaucer.
Ha! We have a pillow under our jumparoo - totally didn't think about using a med textbook! They are now just in our storage closet anyway! oh, and I saw the bumbo comment above - Jenna loved the bumbo from about 3 mos til about now - she is trying to twist out of it. However, it came in handy so many times that I don't regret getting it at all!
