Oh, Brother

My conversation with my 2 year old son this morning while he rolled around in his blanket on the kitchen floor and I made a breakfast casserole and cinnamon rolls for Bible study....

"Mommy, I wanna brother."

"You do? How come?"

"So that I would have someone to play with me."

"Oh, Son, but you have Laney. Not too much longer, and she'll be able to play with you."

"But that's different."

"I'm sorry, but you won't have a brother to play with for another couple of years....Laney will just have to do."

Seriously??? Did I just have that conversation with my 2 year old???
