Wow, I can't believe it's November already. To kick the month off with a bang, I thought I would try new a bunch of new recipes. Here goes nothin'....
Monday--Jambalaya
Tuesday--leftovers
Wednesday--Pan-glazed Chicken with Basil, steamed veggies, dinner rolls
Thursday--leftovers
Friday--Parmesan Chicken with Rice, steamed veggies
Saturday--Quinoa Mexi 6-layer
Sunday--leftovers
I'm especially looking forward to the Quinoa Mexi 6-layer. I just hope that I can find Quinoa in our local grocery store without having to travel to a health food store.
This week also marks the beginning of feeding all 4 individuals from the table. Yep, Laney is now 6 months old and is showing signs of "solid food" readiness. Laney's menu for the week consists of rice cereal, oatmeal, avocado, sweet potatoes, and pears. Wish me luck as I give making veggie and fruit purees a try.

The Quinoa Mexi 6-layer sounds good! My sister used to eat quinoa all the time. I really wish Hubs wasn't so picky! Sometimes I cook something new that I know he won't like and let him fend for himself.
Yummy! I printed off your bourbon chicken recipe to try... can't wait!
You can do it! And Laney will love the fresh purees. Be sure and let me know how it goes.
I love quinoa so I want to know how that dish is. I do have to go to a health food store to get it. Be sure and wash it real well.
Could you please describe what Quinoa taste like? I'm thinking about giving it a try.
Happy Election Day!
I bought a bag of quinoa and have yet to try it. I now know what I am going to use it for. Thanks.
